ReqIFIntegration Package

Overview

• This is an extension for importing ReqIF files (.reqif/.reqifz) into Next Design.
• By installing this package, you can import requirement information exported from a requirements management tool into Next Design and edit and manage it as a requirements model.

This package allows you to perform the following operations from the Next Design UI:

• Import requirement type definitions: Converts ReqIF types (SpecType) to the Next Design metamodel and also creates a view definition for viewing.
• Import requirements: Creates and updates ReqIF requirement objects (SpecElementWithAttributes) as models in Next Design.
• Repeated execution on the same project will update existing models if they exist.
• The default key is Identifier, which can be changed in the import settings.
