What is the difference between a floating license and a user license?

There are two types of licenses:

• User license

• Floating license

A user license is a license that is assigned to a specific user. One license can be installed and used by one user on two PCs.

A floating license has no limit on the number of PCs that it can be installed on, and can be used freely as long as the number of users using it simultaneously does not exceed the number of licenses purchased. One license can be used by one person on one PC at the same time.
