Constraints

For users of Next Design V5.1 and later

The functionality of this package has been ported to the main program in Next Design V5.1.
This package cannot be installed in V5.1 and later. For details, please refer to the notes in Overview.

  • Even if you select the following elements and click [Team Collaboration] > [Load] > [Load Model File] > [Select from Related Models] on the ribbon, the model file will not be loaded.

  • Connector shapes in ER diagrams and tree diagrams

  • Cells in matrix-style trace views

  • If you select any element in a sequence diagram and click [Team Collaboration] > [Load Model File] > [Select from Related Models] on the ribbon, the [Load Related Model Files] dialog box will display not only the model files related to the selected element, but also all model files related to the sequence diagram.

  • When this package is enabled and you open a project, an IndexDB necessary for this package to function will be created in the .nd subfolder within the same folder as the project file.

  • If you rename the project, a new IndexDB will be created, and the old IndexDB will remain. Please manually delete the old IndexDB.

  • If inconsistencies occur in the IndexDB, the following message may be displayed. In that case, please take action according to the message.

Note that only cache data is stored in the .nd subfolder, so deleting it will not affect the design information.

  • If unloaded model files are updated due to file operations such as Git pulls, the information on Next Design and the cached information in the IndexDB may temporarily be out of sync.
  • The IndexDB cannot be committed using the Subversion integration function.
