Overview

This page explains the operations for creating a DTD in the following order:

• Placing the DFD Model
• Creating the DFD

Placing the DFD Model

To create a DFD, you must first place the DFD model.
To place the DFD model, follow these steps:

Operation Procedure

1. In the [Model Navigator], select the model on which you want to place the DFD model, and click [Add Model] > [DFD] in the context menu.
2. [DFD] will be placed as a child element of the selected model.

Creating a DFD

A DFD can be created by adding elements to the DFD and drawing connection lines between the added elements.

Instructions

1. Select the DFD model in the [Model Navigator] and display the [DFD] view.

2. Add elements to the DFD and draw connection lines between them using one of the following methods:

• Drag and drop the elements to be placed in the DFD from the [Model Navigator]

• Drag and drop the elements to be placed in the DFD from the [Tool Box]
