update profile

Overview​

In Next Design, you can import the exported profile into the project you are editing to reflect the updated metamodel and view definitions in your project.

To import the exported profile into your project:

Operation procedure
  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click Profile > Share > Import Profile from the ribbon.
    • Select File > Import > Profile Import from the ribbon and click the Reference button.
  2. In the Profile Import dialog, specify the profile (.nprof or .iprof file) to import.
  3. Click the Open button and the metamodel and view definitions contained in the profile will be reflected in the project.

  • The file save format of the import destination project and the import target profile must be the same.
