Overview

This Quick Start is a tutorial for users who are just starting to use Next Design. Let's experience the new design methodology of Next Design using a UML use case diagram as an example.

For those considering adoption, we have prepared an Experience Guide to help you experience the value of Next Design in the shortest time possible.

This tutorial assumes the following:

• Understanding of the basic concepts of Next Design

See: Next Design Overview > Basic Concepts

• Ability to draw a simple use case diagram
• Understanding the need for traceability

The following sections will explain the design methodology of Next Design in the following order:

• Edit the model using the sample profile
• Create a new profile identical to the sample
• Design the model while recording trace information
