Quick Start

Overview

This Quick Start is a tutorial for users who are just starting to use Next Design. Let's experience the new design methodology of Next Design using a UML use case diagram as an example. This tutorial assumes the following:

• Understanding of the basic concepts of Next Design

See: Next Design Overview > Basic Concepts

• Ability to draw a simple use case diagram
• Understanding the need for traceability

The following sections will explain the design methodology of Next Design in the following order:

• Edit the model using the sample profile
• Create a new profile identical to the sample
• Design the model while recording trace information
