Quickstarts are tutorials for people just getting started with Next Design. Using a UML use case diagram as a subject, let's experience a new design method by Next Design.

We assume the following:

• Understand the basic concepts of Next Design

  Reference: Next Design Overview > Basic Concepts

• Can draw simple use case diagrams
• Understand the need for traceability

Next Design's design method is explained in the following order.

• Edit model with sample profile
• Create new profile same as sample
• Design a model while recording trace information

• create model based on profile

Create a new profile

• define metamodel
• define diagram view
• define form view

• derive model
• check traceability
