Using the Agentiqs pane for AI assistance

This page explains how to display and use the DC Agentiqs chat window in Next Design.
This chat window is called the Agentiqs pane.

• Display the Agentiqs pane
• Add context
• Reload the Agentiqs pane

Workspace, agent, knowledge, and chat input are managed in the same way as in DC Agentiqs.

The Agentiqs pane operates only on the project in which it is displayed.

Displaying the Agentiqs pane

Installing DC Agentiqs adds an icon as shown in the following image.
Click the icon to display the Agentiqs pane.

Adding context

You can add context to the Agentiqs pane in the following ways:

• Add it using the button
• Add it by dragging and dropping

Adding context using the button

Click the Add context button in the Agentiqs pane to add context.

Procedure

1. Click the Add context button in the Agentiqs pane.
2. Click the model to add in the model tree.
   Tip: Click the Select with children button to add the selected model and its descendants.

Adding context by dragging and dropping

Select an element in a navigator or editor, and drag and drop it into the Agentiqs pane to add it as context.
To include the descendants of the dropped element, hold Ctrl while dropping it.

Reloading the Agentiqs pane

To reload the Agentiqs pane, follow these steps.
Reloading lets you apply DC Agentiqs setting changes to the Agentiqs pane while keeping Next Design open.

Procedure

1. Focus the Agentiqs pane.
2. Reload the Agentiqs pane using one of the following methods:
   • Hide the Agentiqs pane and display it again
   • Press F5
   • Press Ctrl + R
