Preparation for Using the AI ​​Agent

The following are provided as part of the Next Design AI Toolkit:

• Next Design MCP *1
• Existing Design Asset Import Skill
• Next Design Extension Development Skill

*1: Next Design license registration is required for the Next Design MCP operating environment.

This toolkit can be obtained from the storage location listed in "File Storage Location" below by installing DC Agentiqs.

File Storage Location

Enter the path listed in "Storage Location" below into the address bar of Explorer and confirm that the target file or folder exists.

Setup

By setting up according to the instructions for using your AI agent, you can manipulate Next Design models and profiles from your AI agent and leverage AI along with skills.

• To use Next Design MCP, you must specify the path to NextDesignMcp.exe in command at a minimum.
  Example: command = "[Storage Folder Path]\\NextDesignMcp.exe"
  
• For other settings (environment variables, etc.), please refer to the manual for your AI agent.
  
• The names and formats of settings vary depending on your AI agent.

Updating MCP and Skills

By upgrading the Next Design AI Toolkit, you can use the latest MCP and Skills.
For instructions, please refer to "Version Upgrade".

Notes

• Store the MCP on the PC where DC Agentiqs and Next Design are installed.
• Manage skills you create or modify in a folder other than the one mentioned above.
  When DC Agentiqs is upgraded, the contents of the bundled folder will also be updated, so any custom files or added skills will be deleted.
