How to design in Next Design

With Next Design, you can not only handle various models created for each process in one project, but also design efficiently across processes.

Here, we will explain the design method that takes advantage of the features of Next Design.

Pre- and post-process models can be displayed on two screens for design

In general, the model designed in each process is designed using the model of the previous process as input, so it is often necessary to cross-check the model of the previous process and the post-process. In Next Design, not only can you display two models side by side in the main editor and sub editor, The main editor and sub-editor can be linked, and the model displayed in the sub-editor automatically switches according to the state of the main editor, so you can quickly check the model before and after the process.

Can be designed while associating with the model of the previous process

Next Design can automatically record trace information (related to derivation) by creating (deriving) the model of the post-process using the model of the previous process as input. For example, when designing a system structure using a system use case as input, you can add system components related to that use case by dragging and dropping a use case appearing in the use case diagram into the system structure diagram. .
At the same time, trace information is automatically recorded between use cases and system components, eliminating the need to manually add trace information later and preventing omissions of trace information.

Details of the above are explained on the following pages.
