Overview of traceability check

In the trace view, you can check the traceability between models by arranging any models. You can save multiple patterns of the models to be checked and their arrangement, and you can switch between them at any time depending on the viewpoint of traceability check.

This section explains how to check traceability using the trace view.

Two display formats

The trace view has two display formats: tree format and matrix format, which can be switched depending on the purpose. In the tree format, multiple models with a hierarchical structure are arranged horizontally, allowing you to get an overview of traceability across models. In the matrix format, you can line up two models vertically and horizontally, and check the traceability of only two models, while adding and editing missing trace information.

Generating reports

You can generate a report (called a traceability report) that summarizes the contents of the trace view in Excel format.
