Output compatibility information to model files
Overview
When using a model file from a project that references a profile in another project, you must output compatibility information.
If there is no compatibility information, the model file cannot be loaded.
For information on how to split a model file and use it in another project, see below.
- [Modeling > Team Development > Distributed Development with a Team > Splitting and Merging Model Files > Splitting into Model Files](../../../modeling-guide/team-collaboration/distributed-development-with-team#Splitting into Model Files)
- Modeling > Team Development > Distributed Development with a Team > Registering Model Files
Prerequisites
- When using a model file in another project, use the same version of the profile. If there are differences in the profiles due to different versions, problems such as loss of model information may occur.
